Description

The Roots Keeper is part of the series Flow that explores the relationship between humanity and nature as a continuous process of transformation. Inspired by philosophical ideas of interconnectedness and constant change, these works imagine landscapes where human presence, botanical forms, and architecture exist in an ongoing dialogue. Rather than portraying nature as a backdrop, I see it as a living system in which every element influences and is influenced by the others. Developed through an intuitive process of drawing and painting, these works embrace the movement of line, color, and gesture as part of their meaning. Together, they invite viewers to reflect on coexistence, adaptation, and the quiet wisdom that emerges from observing the rhythms of the living world. The Roots Keeper reflects on the idea of transformation as a continuous and natural process. A human figure emerges within a landscape of flowing water, botanical forms, and symbolic architecture, suggesting that growth comes through adaptation rather than resistance. Created in mixed media using pencil, ink, technical pens, watercolor, gouache, and acrylic, the work explores the interconnectedness of humanity and nature, inviting viewers to embrace change as an essential part of life
